About Amber Bowe
Born in New Zealand, Amber moved to the South Pacific islands of Tonga aged 16, where she began her career as a chef within the exclusive private yacht industry.
A desire to further her career brought her halfway around the world to London, where she studied at the Butlers Wharf Chef School to gain her NVQs. Upon graduation she landed a job at the prestigious Ivy restaurant, where she worked for a year and a half, working with some of the top chefs in England, perfecting her skills and learning the trade.
Travelling has been a life long passion for Amber, and traversing the globe has allowed her to explore many different food cultures and cuisines. She has particular fondness for Asian and Italian styles of cooking with their crisp, fresh flavours which not only taste amazing but look fantastic too!
Currently her travels have seen her living in Scotland, working as a personal chef, where she has the opportunity to bring her own culinary expertise into the homes of others. This means a much more intimate style of cooking, where the chef and client work together to create the perfect evening for everybody.
